I’m having playback issues and I’m hoping someone can help please. I can stream movies fine on my phone. If I cast from my phone to my TV the plex app crashes with a “app isn’t responding” message. If I try to play direct through my smart TV, I can see the movies however when I select it I get an message “Media not found”. When I play directly from the server I also get a “Media not found error”. Oh, also when I try to sync movies to my phone it gets stuck at 50%. This appears to be limited only to movies that I’m playing from the beginning, movies that I “resume” are fine. I checked my TV library and that appears to be unaffected however I only tested a couple. I’ve restarted the server, restarted the server PC, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone, signed in and out of the app on the TV and no change.
I’ve been using Plex for years and I’ve never experienced these issues before. I recently upgraded to Plex Pass earlier this week so I’m not sure if that was a contributing factor.
