I have suddenly found myself unable to play any videos from any of my libraries. I only do videos.
I can still access and play the files on my media server just through a file browser.
I can still see my library through any version of Plex, but when it comes to actually watching a video on my mobile device or on the web client it won’t play at all. Playing through the web client works just fine. Playing to my TV through a Chromecast works just fine, even with the same mobile app that won’t play on the device itself.
I’ve updated all my apps, I’ve updated Plex Media Server. Everything is running on the current versions. I’ve restarted my media server and my router. Nothing has helped.
The only thing that I’ve changed recently was that I changed my Plex Pass subscription from Monthly to a Lifetime.
