The Apple TV app FU when changing playback position from not-real-time to near or at real-time 100% while watching a OTA Live TV HD (1080i — ie, most current TV) that is being recorded.
These bugs manifest both when only using the FF-10sec action evoked by pressing the Apple Right-Arrow button, and evoking Continuous FF at any rate of FF. Playback halts, both audio and video, and the scrub bar time-position display gets stuck a minute or two before real-time. Sometimes playback will resume if waiting a long time. Sometimes one has to exit playback, play a different show, then re-select and play the original show, but sometimes one has to quit the Plex for Apple TV app and re-launch.
These bugs have persisted for many versions.
From my wife’s yelling, these bugs likely also impact watching OTA Live TV that is not being recording and SD broadcasts, but I don’t have time to do Plex Engineering’s job testing condition permutations.
