PMS 1.32.7.7621 Completely Breaks Apple TV Scrub Bar UI

PMS 1.32.7.7621 instantly completely breaks Apple TV scrub bar UI when watching OTA Live TV 1080i HD broadcast (ie, most current TV) being recorded.

Reverting back to PMS 1.32.6.7557 remedies the instantly-broken-scrub-bar-UI problem.

As I’ve posted multiple times since 24 June 2023, eventually, with use, the scrub bar UI eventually fails with repeated use, especially for Plex player for the PoS Apple TV app 8.21 – 8.27. Please see:

Plex for Apple TV 8.21–8.24 AGAIN Dung—Can’t Watch TV, nor HD Content; Useless like 8.6

Since, apparently, Plex won’t facilitate reverting to previous Apple TV and iOS player apps, I can’t test such.

The Plex player for Apple TV app versions 8.21 – 8.27 have been dung, with many similar, but not instantly failing, UI-use bugs.

Plex, for paying customers, just keeps getting worse and worse.

March 2022, Plex seemed to work ok. I can’t think of a single change since then investing a couple thousand dollars in Plex and needed hardware that has benefited my family’s use.

While there are a few Plex staff members that kindly attempt to help, all public indications, especially and explicitly the September 2023 engineering Plex blog, suggests that Plex simply does not care about its paying subscribers.

Plex has stated that most of its revenue does not come from subscriptions. Apparently, Plex management morals do not include maintaining a working product to its paying subscribers.
