Plex.app crashes during startup. Removed plex.app and donwloaded latest from home page. Still same problem.

It’s worth trying a complete uninstall of Plex for Mac.

  1. Drag the app from /Applications to your Trash.
  2. Drag the following folders and files to your trash
    • ~/Library/Application Support/Plex
    • ~/Library/Caches/Plex
    • ~/Library/Caches/tv.plex.desktop
    • ~/Library/Preferences/tv.plex.desktop.plist
    • ~/Library/Preferences/tv.plex.Plex.plist
  3. Empty your trash
  4. Restart the Mac
  5. Install Plex for Mac
