My IOT devices all live on a WiFi SSID that lets them get to the Internet but not see any local traffic on the LAN. The IP addressing is the same as the server (192.168.2.0/24). Some logic in the server is trying to go to the LAN server for content and the player reports back an error since it can’t access the LAN IP to get the content. Would rather not put it on the LAN w/out the isolation offered by the SSID use.
I need some way to do remote access - don’t mind the bandwidth being used if it has to go out and back again. Just want it to work since I got a TV with Plex just to do this very thing and didn’t conceive that this would be an issue, but it does make sense.
Any way to do this? Browsed through the documentation on the server to no avail. Thanks!
