When I play a movie, PLEX randomly display ‘skip’ buttons like there is an add or credits, but there’s nothing and because the reason of skipping isn’t told, I can’t manually disable x reason detection to prevent this from happening !
it can either be Intro, commercials/ads, credits.
On Apple TV the option to disable the button for previously detected media is in the Player Experience settings for those three.
Web ( and desktop which is based on web) does not have the options to disable button.
The options to disable detection of those in files is in the library itself.
if you view the plex media info xml for an item you should be able to see the markers that exist. like this episode has an intro marker.
The credits detection is sometimes confused by scenes which have large text (or a large amount of text) in them.
This applies to “hard subs” as well, particularly if they’re not placed at the bottom.
