Plex playing offline media from the server

Hi, i have music and tv shows downloaded and synced to my android device, when I play the tv shows the playback info says the source is 'Direct play (Samsung Galaxy), playing from the device, however if i play music it says source is ‘Direct play (Homeserver)’, at a higher bitrate (240) than i have set remote streaming and stored on the device (192). I have the data to sync the played info but why would it still play music from the server I have saved locally on the device.

There is a bug currently where Android will say it is streaming when it really is playing the synced version.

I did play an album not saved to the device and it was transcoding at 128 as ‘Bitrate exceeds maximum allowed’ presumably I’ve set that serverside, so it must be playing locally.
