PLEX playlists won't play in my SONOS

Server Version#: Version 1.13.5.5291
Player Version#: Versie 3.73.2
All songs are on a NAS (QNAP) and this works very fine and fast!

I can play the PLEX playlists on my desktop, my laptop, my smartphone, my LG Thinq TV, my Amazon Echo (Alexa), everywhere BUT NOT ON MY SONOS.
I’ve used the SONOS app and can play individual songs, Artists and Albums, but not the PLEX playlists…
I get the respons: “Unable to contacct the Plex Media Server. Please check your server settings at https://plex.tv and make sure the Remote Access is enabled.”

This setting is enabled. I can play PLEX music on my SONOS. But no playlists.
So this advice isn’t useful.

Even small playlists won’t play (150 songs).

The SONOS helpdesk has looked into this problem but can’t find a reason for not functioning and advised me to contact the PLEX helpdesk (which doesn’t exist apparently).

Has someone an idea where this restriction comes from and how to make my playlists play on SONOS?

still doesn’t work !

I don’t think there’s a restriction, because I can play Plex playlists on my Sonos just fine. I only have one playlist with about 1000 songs and it works.

I forgot to mention that I’m from Belgium. Are you fromù Belgium too ?
Because it seems that Sonos, LG, Google and Amazon (amongst others) have implemented some geo-restrictions, making it difficult for their users to work with Alexa, Google assistent, … when they live in Belgium.
f.i. Deezer won’t play my own playlists with Alexa; my Sonos speakers won’t listen to my ‘hey Google’ voice commands, LG ‘smart’ TV idem ditto, …
In the Sonos app I can see my PLEX playlists, but I can’t play them.
I’m desperate!

No, I’m not in Belgium.

I’m seeing the exact same issue. Albums / Songs will play fine, but not a playlist. I’m located in the US so it doesn’t seem to be region specific.

and do you have the PLEX server on a NAS at home or … ?

problem with PLEX is that there is nobody from PLEX to give solutions !!! or even tries to give some answers on this forum / blog.
