My PMS has been running fine for months and just recently Linux started to complain about disk space and what i found was millions of the same thumb.jpeg being created in the tmp folder and filling up the disk - only a reboot fixes this. I have been through all settings in plex i believe and turned off thumbnail creation but something must be - i have even deleted ther movie that is referenced in the thumb.jpeg but its keeps recreating.
It’s a known bug with Credits Detection, that is been worked on.
Until fixed, you have 3 options:
- Turn off Credits Detection
- Close PMS, and delete the tmp directory, and then start PMS again
- This will need to be done with regular intervals
- When looking at the jpeg, maybe find what movie/episode they belongs to, and disable Credits Detection for that movie/serie only
