Plex Premium (Not Plex Pass)

Several months ago I purchased the Plex Premium it was like $5 or $10 I do not recall, but this gave me the ability to sync content to my portable devices. I have noticed that in the last month or so I am no longer able to sync content from my server to my portable device. Additionally I can now no longer find any mention of the Plex Premium thing I purchased. Am I missing something?

if you’re not a member of Plex Pass, you can still activate an individual mobile Plex client (such as Android mobile) for a one-time charge ($5 sounds about right). This won’t give you all Plex Pass features but allows you to use the mobile app alongside your plex server.

I don’t think this will allow you syncing Plex content to the device… according to the support page, syncing still requires Plex Pass membership.

There was never a product sold (apart from a full Plex Pass subscription) which enabled Sync.

If you have access to other servers: Maybe one of these users had a Plex Pass once and allowed you to sync from their server?

Whats odd then is I would sync content to my tablet for long trips. I know I sync’ed from a few friends servers and my own. I went on international trips 3 times last year and loaded up my tablet. Did the unlock of the android device maybe give you limited time access to plex pass so you could try before you buy?

Is it possible, that you used to use a different plex.tv account?
The one you are using now definitely never had the a
bility to sync.

No, buying the app doesn’t unlock Sync.

Then explain to me why sync on the iPhone does not work???
Posted a support request in the IOS forum a week ago…
No help yet.

Just wondering???

BTW None of the other Plex Pass “Features” work as they should!!
