I have multiple TV shows such as The Office (US) with superfan episodes, Parks and Recreation with extended episodes as well as Psych. These shows, and I’m sure many others, have extended or differently cut episodes than the ones that aired. When I name my files I’ll name it: Parks and Recreation S04E06 For the extended I add: Parks and Recreation S04E06 (Extended) However, when Plex combines these episodes it prioritizes the standard episode rather than the extended one. Basically this comes down to mixing the concepts of versions vs. editions… the latter not yet being supported for tv-show based content.
