Good morning! Using Plex Media Server on Nvidia Shield with two connected hard drives. If I play movies on the TV to which the Shield is connected I have no problems, but if I play movies in another Smart TV at home, sometimes it gives me problems of continuous buffering.
What can you depend on? Is there any solution?
I’ve noticed my smart TV seems to struggle with anything above 1080p @ 8mbits . Where as my Android box plays fine… Try dropping the bitrate on the TV app.
How? Maybe I have to lower the quality of the streaming on the Plex app on Smart TV?
If I press the OK button on my remote, it brings up a menu, for pause, forward backward, along with a few other options, one of these options allows me choose resolution and bitrate…My old LG seems to prefer 1080p @ 8mbit
I understand what you mean! However, the strange thing is that even if you play locally, instead of remaining set to “keep original quality”, the item “automatically convert” is selected
