Plex refreshes the libraries infinitely

Server Version#: 1.41.2.9200
Player Version#: PlexWeb - Chrome

Plex keep refreshing the libraries all the day long.
I have this now for 3-4 days…
i also reimported an old database, but nothing helps here.

I have run the plex server on Unraid in docker. The LinuxServer docker container, the latest one.

In the console he keeps saying somethings like this all over:

Thanks in advance

Probably something like Media indexing never finishes and seems to repeatedly scan the same files

Ok - Nice i disable the two options and it is quiter in the plex log…

MyPlex has now also some normal states

So - but when i’m adding new media to my librarie, plex will not discover that anymore right?

I’m not sure what you mean by that.

You can trigger a library scan manually, after you’ve made sure that all copy processes are finished. If you use external tools for downloading/upacking/remuxing etc. these have often a way to notify Plex automatically and thus trigger a library scan.

You might want to re-enable “partial scan”. It is not the source of your trouble.

Before i just had

Warnung — MyPlex: Invalid response when mapping state (code=429):

Now it give some other states like

for the first thing i activated
the first option…
“Scan Library automatically when changed are detected”

Now it’s slower in the log console… i will watch this and maybe reenable the other option too…

These log messages have absolutely nothing to do with your library scans.
They are are no “error” messages either.

And maybe you should tell your web browser not to automatically translate anything on app.plex.tv.
It only makes things less comprehensible.

Do you have any kind of cron job or scheduled task running on your files regularly? Plex Linux 1.31.2.6739 constantly scanning - #10 by ChuckPa

Hello,
yes i know that this has nothing to do with the error messages before…
But before i just had errors with myplex and now it’s running without errors…

i have no cronjob running, i just had transcoded all files into h265, but that was one by one (one movie transcoded, plex automatically updated the item in the library).
Therefor i was a bit struggling why he refreshing the library all the time now…

thanks in advance
Chris
