Okay let’s jump right into the issue.
I’ve been having this issue for quiet a while now but i kept ignoring it as i was the only one effected by it, but now almost all of my friends who share the same ISP as I are experiencing the same issue. Plex would only buffer with this ISP even though internet speed is high (500Mbps). I tried to change the port for the remote connection but still the issue persists.
I apologize if i haven’t explained the issue precisely.

there is not a lot of detail to go on. Details which can be quite interesting are:
- Where is PMS? As in which ISP is it connected to and which upload speed does it have
- Where were your friends previously? (ISP, download speed)
- Where are you and your friends now? (ISP, download speed)
Because of Peerings, choosing a different ISP with the same speed will yield different speeds, or even worse, if another technology is used (coax-cable with better download speeds has siginificantly worse upload speeds than even DSL).
