Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409
Player Version#: 1.25.3.5409
Hello!
I really hope somebody can help me out with this one.
So I bought a new server a couple weeks ago which runs proxmox on metal. Within proxmox I have a TrueNAS VM as well as a Plex VM which both run on debian10.
The TrueNAS has a 1TB SSD which is passthrough. The SSD has a network share and was added to my Plex machine to find the Data.
The Data on this SSD is all pictures with around 250k + Pictures. (besides IT as my Job I do photography).
I already transfered the picutes carefully from my old Synology NAS to my Proxmox Server with only adding a few folders, doing a scan and wait till the thumbnails are created and than added another couple folders. With all Data transfered the Plex VM is contantly now creating metadata for files that already have metadata. It looks like it’s going through every folder that already has all the information. It just won’t stop and it happens every 10-15mins for about 2-3 folders and then stops. Settings are set so that it only scans the library if there are changes made. No changes were made in the last 4 days and still scans some folders that already have been added.
It wouldn’t bother me but I’m keeping an eye on the power consumption and the peeks it makes for that process, are unneccesary.
I screenshoted some things for you guys to check it out and maybe someone has a solution for it.
If I click one of the files within the Alert’s View it just says: “MIssing details” I still see the folder where it scanned those files and can navigate to the file and open it with no problem.
On my Synology NAS where I copied the files from, everything runs perfect and looks good.
Hope somebody can help me out because I ran out of options.
Thank you so much.
