*Latest server & player version
Hi, so I recently posted in the forum about how a recent update to the server is messing up my metadata. At first i couldnt figure it out because it happened on it’s own, so I figured it was a scheduled task messing things up. Now i can confirm it’s just on a normal scan.
I can explain why I figured this out. So i have my entire library backed up as of say February. I re-installed the server and added the library with the old metadata. There is new additions so I did a scan and have only checked “Scan my library automatically” and “Run a partial scan when changes are detected”. After I did this it scanned and updated a lot of other movies metadata (never ever did this before), incorrectly matched many titles and even started generating thumbnails etc for movies that previously had it already. I see this as a big bug because why would i want to redo stuff i’ve had set for so long.
