PLex Roll

I have been trying for a week now to get plex roll to work. I uploaded a 17 second clip I would like to be played before any video is started regardless if it is the first time watching the movie or not. I see you have to enable trailers for this to work also which I have and they do not seem to be playing either.

I put the pre roll video in a folder/library on its own called plex roll. I think went to the details of the page and copy the url to use that in the settings page. I also read somewhere on here that people were having luck if you gave it a pg rating, but that hasnt helped me. Any guidance would be GREATLY appreaciated.

Use a local path.

I’ve tried that as well. Both local and unc. I have a mapped drive from my nas and created a folder m:\pre_roll\filename

as\dir\filename
\192.168.x.x\dir\filename

Another one I should try?

I’ve also moved the file localally and used c:\preroll\filename

Do I need to spicy file name or just folder?
