Scanner fails to read all files in a directory with 24k files. Files dont ever get included in library. This only occurs on folders that have 10k upwards files. Is this a limitation?

Not in plex, might be an OS issue, I remember seeing something like this for a NAS, and having to change a setting.
Your image shows it got through 15029 files, so possibly #15030 is bad and caused the scanner to fail.
Might post your server logs and see if they have anything useful.
so it turns out plex cannot cope with a large amount of files in one directory. I ended up putting them into split alphabetized folders and then the scan completed.
To plex team: Would be worth mentioning best practice to have less then 15k files in one directory as it could cause scanning issues.
