Plex Scanner Merges Unrelated Movies

Recently coming off a fresh install, I tried to set up my Movies library. Plex when scanning them, originally detected them all individually, but then slowly began merging the files down to this:

There are actually 98 movies, you can see here some of the files that are being merged together for some reason:

Looking through the Plex Media Scanner logs, I see the merges happening but have no idea why. Basically an item successfully matches with iDB, but is then merged with another item for no apparent reason.

Update:
Unmatched movies don’t seem to get merged together. But as soon as I match them, then they too get merged in the others.

there is another rasplex thread that say some package is corrupt or something and removing it fixes the issue perhaps that is what you have Bug - media scanner merging unrelated items
