Plex Scanner Molests and Destroys Titles in Personal Media Libraries

I have video files I have No intention of having plex “Process” them at all but list them. The names are set to NOT match any movie title and the library is a “Other Videos” Type and I have Personal Media turned on for this library yet Plex is going through the file molesting the names, changing them to completely incorrect titles, Movie Posters and not honoring the naming of the files.

I am borderline looking for another platform because plex seems to have a one track mind. Everything must be in some other database.

A perfect example is a file called “Falcon - Sexflix and Chill” (Thats NOT a typo) and yet it gets molested into Netflix and chill. Very frustrating.

Can anyone help why the peronal videos and Other Videos is not honored?

Are they mp4 files? Those titles might be inside the file properties

I found if I deleted the library and started over with the settings it did not do it. I had changed the type and scanner and told it to delete the metadata but once the scanner did its dirty deed it required a deletion of the library.
