Plex see only one episode out of 25

Hi guys, I’m using Plex for my Anime collection other than Telefilms.
Since they are Anime, the episode path is usually:
Anime name\episodes
except for anime with more seasons.
This is working so far, except for an anime: 07-ghost, where plex see only the 7th episode, and not all the rest :frowning:

what are the file names?

It doesn’t matter if the video content is live action or painted characters.
The episodes are added into a TV Show-type library and have to follow the same rules which apply to all tv shows in Plex.
How is your folder exactly named? How are the episode files named?
Which language have you set in your anime library?

This is the path of an episode not recognize from plex:
/07-Ghost [COMPLETO]/Season 1/07-Ghost - 01 - The Future Of Painful Thoughts Is.avi
This instead is the only episode listed:
/07-Ghost [COMPLETO]/Season 1/07-Ghost - 07 - Does The Soul That Was Devoured By The Wings, Dream Of Its Beloved Child.avi

Also, if I click over “edit” on season 1, in files I can see all the episode. Other weird thing: there is a blue “bubble” with 25 (the number of episodes) over the only one episode:

looking into the episode settings, it seems that plex recognize 25 files as one episode:

You are not using the plex file name structure for tv shows.
You need to correct this.

Or:
If you want to keep on using “absolute episode numbering”, you need to install a 3rd party tv show scanner and metadata agent.

I get it, plex see the 07 as the number of the episode!
I’ll rename it using the classic plex way, since the absolute numbering is working for everything else for now

/07-Ghost [COMPLETO]/Season 1/07-Ghost - S01E01 - The Future Of Painful Thoughts Is.avi
This instead is the only episode listed:
/07-Ghost [COMPLETO]/Season 1/07-Ghost - S01E07 - Does The Soul That Was Devoured By The Wings, Dream Of Its Beloved Child.avi

i would name it like that.

it likely thinks they are all episode 7 because the show name. putting in the full notation will hopefully force it into see the second numbers has the episode number rather than the 07 in the show title

excactly, I did it just for this anime, and now it works fine
