Plex Server 1.15 - various urgent problems!

Player Version#: OpenPHT 1.8.0.148

  1. Server ignores Transcoding Settings from the Client
  2. Server ignores Default language Audio Track - in my case german - all files are playing in english
  3. Resuming a File doesnt work anymore - starts always from beginning…

Please fix this - its urgent!

The “fixes” belongs to the client, which is unsupported by Plex

Before v1.15.3.876, everything was working fine… and now, all this mentioned points are not working anymore. There were no changes on the clinet side…

Ok. thats the problem with resuming streams but what is with the bandwith setting? Is this broken too?

Since I don’t follow OPHT threads, and also haven’t heard other reports up here, I would assume so, but can’t be sure.

My client is Samsung TV Plex app. And I experienced the resume problem after recent version upgrade too.

So I don’t know for sure if it’s a client problem or not. Resume seems to work in browser but not on the TV Plex app. The TV app hasn’t been updated for a while now so I don’t know if it is still being maintained.

Sadly not, since it wasn’t developed by Plex, and the dev that made it had to stop due to health reasons
