Plex Server availability outside my network

My kids and a few select friends have access to my Plex Server on my Synology DS918+. Suddenly, the Plex app on their Roku devices is showing my server as unavailable. Has there been some change to cause this?

You might want to update the Plex server software version on your NAS.

I am currently running version 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238. This is also what is listed as the “Newest online version”.

Please advise.

When you look here you can see that the newest verison is 1.24.3.5033-757abe6b4

You may want to take a look at Synology FAQ (DSM 5 & 6) - Questions, Answers, and a few How-To's – particularly items 2, 3, and 11

side remark: if you are offered the update to DSM 7 by Synology, please wait at least a few more weeks before doing that.
