Plex Server cannot be found on local FreeNAS box

I have a plex server (vLATEST) running on FreeNAS v11.2 (.30.5) and when I go to the plex web page to manage the server (.30.3:32400)(web client v3.77.4) I get the forever spin on the “searching for server” box. I have never had this issue before which is why I’m kind of stumped here. As far as I know it should just see the server fine as it is running on the same box.

How is PMS installed? Plugins or manually (via pkgng) in a jail?

I have tried both a manual install and plugins. Both give the same issue.

You need to give a bit more details then, assuming “pkgng” is this in the host or a jail?

And after you did a pkg install plexmediaserver and start plexmediaserver service…

What’s the output of sockstat -l46
