Plex Server Crashing Every 2-3 Days

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364
Player Version#: Various, all latest.

Plex keeps crashing after 2-3 days. The issue can be reproduced but not at any given time, you just have to wait lol. I’m not doing anything specific when it happens. I can say that maybe it usually happens when the server is within its maintenance window.

Running on a windows server 2022 machine using a laptop (the laptop is a champ, do not judge me) Plex is the only thing that has an issue on it. I have already reinstalled and started from scatch. Let me know if there is any additional information I required.

try fixing your database. i’m no expert but your logs state in the errors that your database is locked and unresponsive. i’d try to repair that. Not sure how that’s done for windows but i’m sure there are support articles out there.

Interesting… I do have a rather large library consisting of over 600k items. I’m wondering if plex is getting hung up on doing database optimizations… As doing it manually does take a good 4 to 6 minutes.

Database apparently repaired. Although no issues were found. Will leave the server running to see if the issue persists. I dk how i missed that in the logs before >…>
