Plex server (DS916+) crashes every time I start the Plex android tv client

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2058 (Synology DS916+)
Player Version#: 7.25.3.14365 (Android TV on Nvidia Shield TV Pro v1)

As soon as I open the Plex app on my Android TV, the Plex server on my NAS crashes and I have to manually login to the NAS to restart the Plex server (the official package, not a docker container).
Then, while the app is already opened on the TV and showing that there is no connection (because the server crashed…), I click “retry connection” and then works.
This is pretty annoying as I have to manually restart it every day, and sometimes multiple times a day.

Logs don’t show anything that I found helpful…

You could try updating to PMS 1.18.3.2129; there was a known crashing issue resolved in that release related to accessing Live TV & DVR. It doesn’t sound exactly like your issue, but it’s probably a good idea to upgrade anyway since it does address a potential crash:

I do have Live TV & DVR on that server. The beta update seems fine so far, thanks.
