Plex server for Synology not show music album

if I use Plex in Synology official App Store the music album will show correctly, but when I update the Plex server from Plex official website to the latest version in a manual way, the music album will not show as the attached screenshot, please fix the bug.

please know the truth that the problem is really not my file tags or any problem with my music files because at first I use Synology official App Store,see the screenshot,

when use synology appstore’s Plex,all album pics showed correctly,and when I update manually from Plex Homepage,if you add a new music library,won’t show any album pics,any one who have a Synology device can do the same.

I have read all of your words and I understand it but that is not the real point and why don’t get to the real point I have said all the file is the same and all the settings but the diffrence is one use Plex from Synology the other use Plex from Plex homepage.

this big problem I have found it maybe half year ago and untill now I write the topic here just want to make the real solution,yes just never use Plex downloaded from Plex.tv will just solute anything,but why the official version not work with Synology,I write here want to find the real reason.

One more question is are you using Synology as your Plex server?if not that should be Synology or Plex 's responsibility.

I have a vpn installed on my router,so all of my devices can access to some blocked net,and as I change the agent to local metadata only still show nothing,all of my music files have correct tags.I think the only reason is something tricky on Synology.I use Synology 1819now,and half year ago I used Synology 918,same wierd problem happens,means I could only update Plex in Synology Appstore.

there really have no solution,it need Plex programer to find the answer,hope they will see this topic.
and here I did not change anything.
I just uninstall the latest Plex,and reinstall it by Synology Appstore,here I show you the screenshot that everything work fine,just use synology version.
and you can see plex note me to update to latest version now I could only ignore the update.

I am not a programer , analyze the log file is above my ability.I am a user and payed hundred dollars for Plex,Plex is not an open source software,so when problem happens,I hope the programmer should appear and help me to solve my issue.other wise what’s the difference with open source kodi. like we pay to Apple Macbook when problems happens tecnology will surpport.

Plex is not a free software,without pay it cannot use on phone or it will note me to buy the plex pass,I don’t know if it’s a misunderstanding,at first I just think should pay to use Plex. a software without pay can only be used by Strict restrictions why should call it a FREE software.

Free software is Free software,and Paid software is Paid software,Plex charges the fee and when problem happened then show a slogan sorry Plex is free for everyone and free for every responsibility to help fix the bug.I am not regret the hundred dollars,but such excuse to a user.

also thank you for helping, you are a good person to help other people.but I really think it’s Plex programmer’s responsibility to fix the fatal bug as user exhausted trying to find analyze and fix everything.
