Server Version#: 1.41.6.9591 → 1.41.5.9522

I had been testing some dev releases for Chris in regards to HEVC transcoding. Chris had me install 1.41.6.9591. During this time I had noticed that when restarting PMS, it would at first connect Indirect and then would change to Direct after several seconds. Otherwise it ran well, expect the release didn’t fix my HEVC issues. Chris recommended that I install the latest release: 1.41.5.9522, going forward.
Before doing this rollback, my server was quite busy analyzing many new media file changes.
Today it finished and I had to install some new Windows updates, which I did and Plex started running but again it connected as Indirect, and this time it would NOT change to Direct.
I tried to reapply the port number change as an option to reset the connection. However, after hitting the Apply button I noticed the number wasn’t 32400, and I’m not sure what it was.
I then got an error message that Plex could not be disconnected.
I restarted Plex.
Now Plex appears to be running in the taskbar, but I cannot connect to it.
I then tried installing the older public release: 1.41.5.9522. I got a message that I was running the 32-bit version, which was strange because before testing I was running 64-bit. I continued the install with the public 64-bit version.
I restarted Plex and it is running in the taskbar.
Still cannot connect.
