I updated my server today to the above version and now Plex will not find .flac files that I have added to the Shared folder. I have given Plex read/write access to the folder and removed the files, emptied trash and put the files back, but still not showing on Plex.
I take it, you’ve added this shared folder to a music-type library?
How are the files organized/named within the folder associated with your library?
Yeah they are organized just like the other several thousand files, I added some formatted the same just the other day prior to the server update and had no issue. I have restarted Plex, and the NAS but nothing. I can see them on Synology Audio station.
It seems like the scan isn’t actually ‘looking’ for very long or as long as it usually does.
Is there anywhere I can download the old server version?
Ok, I figured it out. The Album title started with … (3 full stops) so the folder also started with … so it seems Plex didn’t like this. I removed the … and now it is found.

For reference, files starting with . are classified as hidden files on Unix-like operating systems so Plex will ignore these.
