yesterday evening Plex stopped working for me. The Windows app was telling me something that the server doesn’t allow inscure connections or is not on the same network. It is indeed on a different Vlan than the clients, but that didn’t change since month now.
I tried then to reinstall Plex on my QNAP NAS, but it didn’t change anything. I can open Plex using a browser, navigating then to my local media and Plex is telling I should get the server first.
Just an idea, you can ssh into the QNAP as admin, and restart PMS from the command line. When you do that, you’ll see if any strange error messages appear.
If you get a normal startup then give it 5min before stopping it again and grabbing a copy of Plex Media Server.log
