Hi I’m not really sure where the right place to post this is but I’m having the issue in my smart TV so I figured I’d put it here…
Basically my Plex server seems to have just completely given up recently after working mostly fine for months.
Issue 1 is that I can connect to Plex on my TV, PS5 and phone but whenever I connect on my desktop, the one I actually need in order to change settings etc, it either says “the server ‘desktop’ is unreachable” or sometime it will say “cannot connect securely to desktop”.
This means I can’t change artworks, make optimised version etc. Basically everything.
For some reason the Plex Dash app also isn’t working and just gets stuck on loading and won’t show any information.
The other thing is that I can still use the app on my TV and watch certain video files but it seems to be completely random which ones will work. Some massive 4K files will play fine but small 1080p files can’t play for more than like a few seconds, if at all. There are also videos that will specifically freeze at one point in a video and won’t continue past that time stamp but it will play the stuff before that point fine.
Any help is appreciated.
Edit: Nevermind nothing is working now it won’t connect on the TV, phone etc it just isn’t working at all. It still just says the server is unreachable.
