Plex server keeps crashing after playing half a movie. Synology. My head Wrecked

So installed plex - -manual install with latest version 4.34.3 on synology 1819+. Keeps crashing after about an hour of watching anything. Tried unistall and reinstall, debug and

Then have to go into synology and go to installed packages and click run then every thing fine for around an hour then crash.

Ive downloaded the log file but no idea which one of them to post. So just put up zip file

Loosing the will here.

Plex Media Server Logs_2020-06-01_21-40-33.zip (3.1 MB)

Thanks all

Thanks a million.

current version: Version 1.19.3.2843 so I updated that to 2852
Diabled Verbose logging
Debug loggin already enabled
Removed media from plex shared folder (my bad sorry didnt know- Read article now)
Warning message in the 6 languages is present

Ill see how it goes now and report back

Did crash again but then realised id still had media in there in a different folder. All gone now.
Also updated to 2893 thanks again and fingers crossed

I don’t get an error message - just NAS is offline when I go into plex on any device.

When go into NAS (synology 1819+) have to go into the package centre - it says “run” underneath as opposed to “open” - Click run then the plex is back online.

Suppose that’s why I thought it crashed - its done it twice today already. Maybe I’m doing something stupid.

Ive attached the log zip Plex Media Server Logs_2020-06-02_18-17-10.zip (5.2 MB)

Playing the movies on a variety of devices from pc to LG smart TV - haven’t really used on mobile or other tablets etc yet

Really appreciate your help

You are sharp - wow

So my music folder was scanning the entire volume 1 which is obviously crazy so changed that library

Removed cert location which was silly.

That first one Billy Barrie is a camera video of daughters dancing troop - plex doesnt like it.

Hopefully these few changes will have made a big difference - especially I would imaging tying itself in knots for the entire disk - all 37 TB - yikes.

Ill see how it goes - thanks really appreciate. Ill report back

Also changed the files to subfolders of “Media” as in link - thanks
Fingers double crossed

Thanks

Val

Hey trumpy81 - no crashes at all - working for a day now. I think that most likely was trying to scan entire volume - really apprechiate

Yeah really happy now no more headaches - kids watching in one room - wife and myself in another no issues whatsoever. Really really appreciate your help never would have twigged the music file scanning whole volume that’s why its great to get someone who just knows the answers - especially when your dealing with someone who is not that tech savvy like me. Thanks again.
