[ Plex Server, Mini-Series, Episodes ]

Having a problem after I updated to official Plex server. I have a mini series with 10 episodes. I made a folder with the mini series names, and i copied the 10 episodes into that folder, named them name part01 title name.

When I did this Plex only see’s one clip or I should say 1 episode.

How can I make this easy and get it to see the folder and it’s contents? I have a Library called Music, and one for Movies. I put this folder in my movies.

Any ideas?

Naming issue:

…part1 … etc is used to stack parts of a movie or episode together.

Use S01E01 to S01E10 instead and get rid of the “part” part.

Yea kinda weird, as I have other mini series from what I did prior and they worked, I am going to try the
S01E01 to S01E10.

I also just found this.

I’ll get back to you, thanks

I did this and what Plex suggests, and it just spins. So this way isn’t working either.

Yea as I stated, I tried that,

Mini-series belong in a TV library. Mostly they will NOT work in a movie library.

They must be named exactly as in TheTVdb and use the format:
TV Shows <— The TV library points here
---------Mini-Series Name (Year first aired if needed) <— This folder holds the season folder
------------------Season 01 <— This folder holds all the episodes for the mini-series
-------------------------Mini-Series Name - s01e01 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------Mini-Series Name - s01e02 - Episode Name.ext
-------------------------And so on for the rest of the mini-series

There are a few mini-series that go into a season 2 or further. For those just follow the same format as season 1.

If you would say exactly which mini-series you are dealing with people here might be ably to tell you exactly what the naming and structure should be.
