Problems with multipart naming of miniseries

Lonesome Dove is a 4 part miniseries that has been ripped from disks. I have all four in a folder \Lonesome Dove (1989)

The are named as follows:

Lonesome Dove (1989) -part1.mkv

Lonesome Dove (1989) - part2.mkv

Lonesome Dove (1989) - part3.mkv

Lonesome Dove (1989) - part4.mkv

I would like to be able to watch the episodes separately. Currently Plex is defaulting to “Lonesome Dove: The Making of an Epic” which is the documentary from 1970 but it does list 6hr 11min to watch so it is recognizing the four parts. I have tried the “Fix Match” but it doesn’t bring up the correct option.

I have tried different naming conventions as per Plex documentation but have not been able to get anything to work. Thank you in advance for your help!

For mini-series, use TV show naming and add to a TV show library.

You may need to Plex Dance the files after renaming/re-organizing.

      /Lonesome Dove (1989) s01e03.mkv

Thank you for your help. I wondered about doing that, but hadn’t put it in TV. Had left it in the Movies folder

One final question - I think. Can subtitle files be added then to play with these files?
