Plex server on Nvidia Shield is not accessible

Server Version#:1.42.1.10060(smb)
Player Version#:10.30.2.3548

My media is stored on NAS but after Shield alerted me with critical space message, I moved the Plex database to USB drive. Now my server appears with the dreaded exclamation mark and is properly inaccessible. It doesn’t show under the Plex Media Server heading in Settings and I can’t reach it via http://ip.address.of.shield:32400/web.

I followed the troubleshooting steps in the Knowledge Base, reviewed the related posts here, uninstalled and reinstalled Plex on the Shield. During installation, my server is spotted, but when I select it, I’m advised it’s inaccessible. I feel like I’ve been spinning for the last couple of hours trying to chase this down and now I’m exasperated.

Any suggestions?

Same. i feel like this happens whenever there is an update to the server app.

I’ve given up running PMS on the Shield. I have enjoyed long stretches of high performance, but the complication of adopted storage to accommodate a large database is just too much trouble and the server always seems to be hanging on for dear life. I’m now running PMS on an inexpensive mini PC. I still love the Shield for my Plex client as well as other media streams, but I think I’ve found the solution for me.
