Plex Server on Raspberry Pi 4 64-bit Bookworm Denied Access to USB Drive

My uploaded photo details the subject issue. PMS sees the Media drive, but does not show its contents. Permissions seem correct to me, but the plex user is denied access to the external USB hard drive. The danaplex user (me) has full access to the drive via file manager. I am unable to create libraries of the contents of my USB hard drive.

I get no error messages or warnings in the PMS status obtained by running the following terminal command: sudo systemctl status plexmediaserver

What should I do to get the plex user and PMS access to my external USB drive?

Don’t let the automounter put the device in /media/Your_Username .

Mount it under your control.
