Plex Server on Synology 1515+ NAS keeps stopping

Hi All,
This is my first post, so I hope I am using the proper category.

I have been running Plex on my Synology 1515+. Plex 1.1.3.2700-6f64a8d is listed as the installed version, and shows as “up to date”. I have run Plex without any issues whatsoever for the past year, but in the last month the Plex server goes into “stopped” multiple times per day, and sometimes is not accessible from my Plex client, even when listed as “running”.

I have uninstalled Plex from my Synology NAS, then reinstalled. This has not fixed the issue.

Any help to get my Plex back to its stable state will be greatly appreciated!

There is no way to even know what’s happening without seeing the logs.

Please go into the Plex share… Go down to the Logs directory and zip all of the Logs directory. Then attach here as a post.

If you feel up to it, looking through the logs for ‘shutdown’ will tell you when PMS is shutting down. It can be as simple as your machine going to spinning down drives and something not coming back right or a volume inconsistency tripping it up… Again, no way to diagnose without more information.

Thanks for your help ChuckPa. I have zipped and attached all the logs. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide.

I’m currently on vacation and can’t access the log files from my iPad. I will be home in about a week and can continue then. perhaps in the interim @trumpy81 can take a look and help in my stead.
