Plex server pausing movies for no reason

Server Version#: Version 4.47.3
Player Version#:8.11.0.22186
(File removed)

This happens on other devices also. It is also happening on an iPad, Fire HD 10 tablet and two tvs using the Amazon 4K fire stick.

My NAS is a DS920+ with a 1 TB Cache SD. It has 8 GIG of ram.

When this happens the Server Dashboard shows the program paused even though it should be running.
The NAS CPU usage is zero. I am using direct play.

My network isn’t even close to being maxed out.

I can’t find any reason for the server to keep pausing it.

To add to trumpy,

The hardware transcoding is not engaging.

Ok. I got it fixed. I wanted to give you an update that will hopefully help others. This all started after I did a server update. The symptoms were that the Videos would pause for no reason.

Most often to never come out of pause. This happened on all my devices. What I did: Moved all my media to a new shared folder called “Media”. Uninstalled the Plex Server from my NAS.

Did a manual install of the latest Plex Server Software. After this I uninstalled and then reinstalled all apps from all of my devices. Now everything appears to be working fine.

I still get some buffering but that I believe is a network issue that I am working on. Anyways thanks for the help.
