Plex server remote access dropping every hour on the hour

Server Version#: 1.16.3.1402 on ubuntu 18.04 64bit

Every hour on the dot at 11 minutes past the hour one of my plex servers is convinced its no longer accessible to remote access. A restart of the plexmediaserver service. Or a jiggle of the enable remote access setting in plexweb will restore normal connectivity until 11 minutes past the hour when it drops again.

I’ve tried rolling back a version. I’ve tried leaving the server offline at 11 minutes past the hour.

The drop seems to be related to these log entries

Anyone have any thoughts on how to convince the remote acccess to stay up?

My other plex server, hosted elsewhere is fine!

For anyone who hits something like this in the future. My ‘easy’ fix was to delete the Preferences.xml in the plex folder and re-register my plex instance as new server.

I can only assume my old plex server id was somehow messed up in plex’s infrastructure.

I’ve been up for 3 hours now with no drops. So hopefully all is well now.
