Plex Server stopped working after latest update PlexMediaServer-1.18.7.2438-f342a5a43-x86

After update to the above mentioned version my plex server is not visible any more.
I tried everything including cleanup of network (removed hyper-v), check firewall etc.
The client can’t see the server any more, the EXE is running.

It could be the issue reported by other users which has been tracked down to a bug in code that handles loading of iTunes media / library into Plex.

If you do not includes iTunes media in Plex please provide logs

Thank you, seems you are right. I solved the issue this way:

  • Renamed iTunes-Directory so Plex cant find it any more
  • Started Server and it worked, was able to access configuration
  • Deactivated iTunes Plugin
  • Stopped Server
  • Renamed iTunes-Directory back, for including files in plex, not xml.
  • Started Server
  • Works again, iTunes Plugin deactivated.
