Any particular reason for having two PMS servers rather than one and a player on the other? You’re almost hedging on asking for a sync of PMS databases. This is not supported.

How to keep two Plex Media Server Databases syncronised?

I would like to setup another Plex Media Server as a fail over in case the primary stops working. Recently needed to reinstall the Media Server on my QNAP NAS and lost the database as a result. Which is inconvenient as once I have rescanned all the media back in, I then need to reset those that have been watched. The scheduled backup is a great option, another would be a restore which I could not find anywhere on the web interface. Suggestions and comments appreciated Thanks
