The server does’t crash. The logs show it stays until shutdown normally.

A user said they got “Server Unavailable” when they pulled up my server and I tried it from my phone outside my network and got the same thing. I logged in and restarted the plex service and it came back up. I’ll have to see about the Venom movie.
Would the cert issue be due to an outdated client? Or some SSL cert/inspection?
The cert issue is likely an outdated client (one where the internal cert from the manufacturer isn’t valid anymore)

Talked to the user with the Cert issues; they were on the latest Plex Update for iOS (no jailbreak)

The server “crashed” again…this time I caught it.

You saw the unavailability ( the screenshot above) which will happen when the server is ordered to shutdown.
None of logs are partial except the .1.log which is where the commanded shutdown occurs.
Since it occurred at 0.00 UTC, do you have a cron job which did it?
I saw it before the shutdown. I hit update library (camodo beamng) before I noticed the server give me that message. I was switching to a different movie (bedtime lullabies) then it crashed or stated my library was empty.
What were you playing it on? / where did you see it (which device) ?
There are multiple concurrent in the logs
It was a Shield with the IP 192.168.15.16
I walked through the entire playback on the shield. There was no crash.
If you look here, 192.168.15.16, socket ID 57696, runs from the beginning until the end of the playback time (printed in milliseconds).
The last few lines here show the post-play screen being displayed.

It was very difficult to follow but was this transcoding? I don’t see it. What did Tautulli show ?
The Shield Pro 2019 does not need any transcoding. If you are getting transcoding then we must review your settings (everything I play to mine is DirectPlay)
I do see where the Roku and PS4 are transcoding but that’s expected.
Still, at no point in time, do I see any transcoder failure.
The only thing “Plex Media Server.1.log” shows me about shutting down is the commanded shutdown

My Roku 4 & Ultra play everything, Ultra is in Direct Play mode cause of crappy Roku software, they have codecs for everything, my Rokus never have to transcode anything. If I dont Direct Play to the Ultra it puts the video in HDR mode & on my 1080 SDR TV it looks like crap. I dont understand why you make that statement.

The Shield does direct play all the content. 118 is a Windows 10 Enterprise VM that shouldn’t be streaming anything lol.

I added a bunch of personal videos to Camodo BeamNG library, used Plex Dash to refresh the library and it sat at 0% for a few seconds then on the Shield .15.16 I switch to a video and the video wouldn’t give me the Play option, then it say there was no data in any of my libraries. Restarted the server and all was well. I didn’t see anything obvious which is why I asked for some help. I really appreciate the help.
If there isn’t anything to be concerned about I’ll just move on 
If you can do that again, except not restart the server – restart the player on the shield instead, I think you’ll see the same.
There is a cache buffer between the two. The server updates the players after all ingestion activity is complete.
Could you have caught it while it was still adding? (I’ve done that myself)
