Plex server unavailable all of a sudden

Hey everyone,

All of a sudden, my plex server tells me it’s unavailable. This happens both locally and through a remote connection.

I’ve already tried updating Plex to the latest version and restarting my NAS/router/PMS. Unfortunately to no avail.

I’m not sure what the cause is. I’ve attached server logs that I got through File Station in DSM.

Thank you for your reply. I can check the HDD’s and reinstall Plex, so I’ll go ahead and do that.

The loads of failed playback attempts probably stems from the fact that a lot of my family uses my server.

Could you perhaps be of more assistance with the issue regarding my WAN address? I’m not understanding that unfortunately. By the way, it has been working properly for months. Do you have insight in what has changed from the logs?

I’m seeing the same issue (also on a Synology NAS) and it seems that this post ("A server could not be found.") is probably describing the same problem. Having a hunch that it might be a problem on the Plex side of things?

Haha…I’m having the SAME problem, I couldn’t map the drive then once I did BOOM…server unavailable, this is the most frustrating time ever. Completely ruined my day, I’m so pissed off because of this. I refused to re add all my media to another server just because Plex doesn’t want to re connect to the one I was using.
