I downloaded the app to the 360, logged in by PIN, and.. "Your Plex server is unavailable."
It's saying that the server version needs to be 0.9.10.2 or higher, but I was running 0.9.10.3, and just updated to 0.9.11.1, and still no go. It's got the name of my server right, so it knows what it's looking for.. just can't find it. Also, the server is definitely available, I can connect to it via iOS, etc.
Anyone else having this problem?

Reboot your PC running Plex Server after you upgrade it.
Mine’s on Linux and I restarted the Plex service… No need to reboot.

Are all of you that are having issues using linux as your server? I see Chrisavery is, and i am as well
Same here - running 0.9.11.1 on Win 7 Pro - Win 8.1 tablet app, Android, IOS and Rasplex apps connect fine. Rebooted server but still getting "Your Plex server is unavailable".
Yep, same issue. i'm on freenas 9.2.1.7 running plex server Version 0.9.11.1
haven't tried rebooting or restarting services. i'll give that a shot thanks.
Update.... I rebooted freenas and now it connects and functions great! Restarting the plugin probably would have worked too but i figured what the heck why not.
If you don't restart the application/service how would the updates get applied?
Having the same issue, running 0.9.11.1.678-xxx and still getting Server version 0.9.10.2 or higher required.Server Not Available... Have rebooted /exited server and restarted it numerous times... Nothing.. Any suggestions anyone?

I had a problem that looked like this. Check your 360 network settings. I rediscovered that my 360was configured to be on my guest network, which obviously won't work.
It's worth a try, although odds are that isn't your issue.

Thanks for the feedback... Alas, I'm hardwired so not connecting thru my wifi. All my ports are forwarded properly and ip's are configured properly. DLNA server works great via the 360's media player... Only the Plex App is having issues... and it SEE's my server name... It just say's its not reachable. When I goto the website my server is listed and green and working properly.

I am also running hardwired, my server is on Windows 7.
you did remind me about xbox network tests. xbox live successful, media center successful to a different windows 7 box, pc successful however the Plex server box is not listed, not sure if needed. i even enabled media sharing on it, and rebooted and its still not listing,
all my windows boxes have firewalls disabled
running a buffalo ddwrt router
not sure if related, just providing information, maybe it sparks something else.
does the plex app require upnp?
netscan shows xbox ip, however pings dont respond from plex server box.
edit:
while running a network test diagnostic on xbox, xbox did respond to ping, so plex server box can ping xbox for a network reacheability/continuity standpoint
Same problems here, running 0.9.11.1.678-c48ffd2 on OS X on a mac mini and freshly installed Xbox 360 Plex app says I need server version 0.9.10.2 or higher.
Tried rebooting the mac mini, no luck.
Closed out the app on xbox and reopened, no luck.
Server shows up when I'm logged into plex.tv.
FWIW, Plex app on iPhone 5 is working fine.

Does PMS + XBOX 360 Plex works over Internet? Can browse and access just fine with laptop but cannot seem to get it to connect with PMS default open port is 32400 but wondering if i need other ports opened?

It's a good thought, but i tried mine both on my wifi as well as hardwired. Both are on the same subnet, so it shouldn't matter anyway, but in any case, neither work.
I found I could get away from the server unavailable issue by signing out from the Plex Xbox 360 app and signing back in.

How did you sign out? I logged in via PIN and I haven't been able to sign out... I've tried deleting the app from Xbox and reinstalling, deleting sessions from the PMS side, but Plex on Xbox360 always comes back already logged in.

Click General and then bottom right sign out
