I am not sure about this error. Do you have a way to backup the database and restore the database on a new machine? I can create a new synology vm however, I hate to loose my database for my history of watched shows and episodes etc.

Does this make sense and it is even salvageable at this time? I am considering upgrading to the x64 architecture if I have to create a new machine.

Please advise and give you best recommendation around this topic. I want to achieve the best results with the littlest time and effort on my part.

Thank you in advance!!!
Richard

Synology made a change in DSM 6.2 Update 2.
That change restricts 32 bit PMS versions from 64 bit machines.
Your NAS has an Intel Core i3-4130

We were forced to restrict installation of 32 bit software on all 64 bit hosts except two Synology has revision locked at DSM 5.2

Your machine, being DSM 6.2 eligible, can no longer use 32 bit PMS

Do you have any way to backup and restore the database with the meta data around the library? Or does it need to re-build everything?

Everything about PMS is in the Plex share out on the main storage volume. I did it this way because Synology requires us to uninstall instead of downgrading.

If you’re going to upgrade DSM to 6.2 (best step here), everything is retained. After upgrade is complete and rebooted, you can install the 64 bit version and continue.
