Server Version#: 1.18.7.2415-9930aef45
Player Version#: web interface - no relevance
for at least two weeks, the web gui can’t be accessed most of the time.
my server is a dedicated ubuntu 19.10 machine.
i’m trying to access it using both safari and chrome on my mackbook, and it’s seems the server web gui is dead.
this behaviour is getting worse with each update.
where can i find the 1.17 install deb pack? i wan’t it to work and not crap on me like this.
i’ve payed good money for plex pass (lifetime), and starting to regret it (not the first time the server miss behaves).
please help me get it back on it’s feet and working properly.
i assume i can upload the log files, but will have to verify that.
hope to get help and advise as soon as posible.
thanks in advance,
Shay
after accessing from the plex.tv (randomly works on chrome), i was able to disable the secure connection and safari started working. chrome still unstable using plex.tv, and completly unreachable using local address on lan.
Can you please Stop PMS.
Manually create a tar.gz or ZIP of the Logs directory (under “Plex Media Server”)
hi, here are the logs in two formats: zip and tar ball, thanks.
don’t mind the morning outage from today, we lost the main power in the home for an hour or so.
plexlogs.tar.gz (682.5 KB) plexlogs.zip (824.4 KB)
I have a question regarding Docker.
Just after the server starts up, a Docker container also starts and causes PMS to reset its network interfaces, is this related to PMS in any way?
nope, i have not installed anything on docker, just the docker sub system. i’ll check what is it and report. thanks for the direction.
can you point me where in the logs did you see a container?
—Edit----
Just did a double check, i don’t have any containers running. and removed the docker engine completely from the system.

No the only problems are 2:
- when server configured to use only secure connection - it isn’t accessible from local address, but can be accessed from the plex.tv interface.
- remote connection flag is indicating that the server periodically is not accessible remotely
another problem surfaced - after few hours the server becomes unstable and unresponsive (only plex), after restart - the web interface responds but only as indirect
Happy yo update that stability is no longer an issue.
the remote access flag and the secure connection problems are still relevent.
