Plex Server - Windows started crashing often about two weeks ago

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2029
Player Version#:several including:
Amazon Fire TV 7.23.0.13018
Samsung Tizen 2.4 4.5.1
Samsung Tizen 4.0 4.5.1
Plex Media Server Logs_2019-11-19_18-07-02.zip (8.1 MB)

Server is running on a Dell core I7-8700 with 24GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 running Windows 10 home 1909 at the moment.
Also have an HDHomerun Prime configured.
For the last couple of weeks I cannot watch live tv from the 2016 2.4 samsung tv native app. I can through the Firetv attached to it. I can watch live tv from the newer samsung tv’s native app. When I try to watch tv on the 2016 tv’s app, it times out and crashes the server.
Every day when I come home from work, the server has crashed during the day while not being used. Friday night, I had to restart the plex server several times to get through a recording of Gold Rush. It ran mostly fine over the weekend but required a few restarts. I have upgraded the plex server at least twice over this time hoping it will fix the problem. I upgraded windows to 1909 to see if that helped. I emptied all of my temp folders and rebooted countless times and ran malware scans. I optimized the database and cleaned bundles. Nothing else is running on the machine but plex and windows. This machine has been serving Plex since July of this year and ran rock solid until this started about two weeks ago. I hope something useful is in my logs and someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks, John

This might sound crazy and out of left field, but… download GDIView and see how many GDI handles explorer.exe has open. I’ve had an issue for awhile where explorer starts leaking GDI handles and eventually takes down the box.

I am having a similar issue. Sometime in the past week and a half my Plex server just started to crash constantly. I restart it and it runs fine for a few minutes then it crashes all over again. It happens even if the server is just sitting idle with no connections. This is super frustrating as it is the primary way that my kids watch movies! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

FYI, it was the hardware transcoding. I disabled it to stop the crashes and finally reenabled it after updating to the latest version (1.18.5.2309) with no more crashes.
