Plex Server won't connect since I did update this morning

I had the update so I installed it thinking this is why plex has been so bad lately, but now it doesn’t run at all, I keep getting message that says

I ran through the update and now can’t get it to connect to my computer server

I tried to uninstall it and reinstall it, I tried the repair option on it, and nothing is working.

I searched online for answers, and found forum articles from years ago.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I am having the same issue, seems no one either cares or knows about this issue. Awaiting help to get services restored.

I did update now I can only connect on my home network. Unable to connect from remote connection. Was working fine before update.

I usually use modzilla but when I uninstalled it the fourth time and did reinstall, then uninstall and repair, then it set up a icon on my tray, when I clicked on it, it opened up in Edge, I don’t like using Edge, but it seems to allow Plex, when Plex isn’t working anywhere else, so maybe you can try that. But then you also need to uninstall it and reinstall the media player app on your device.

Once I did that I got to view some thing on my Roku tv.

So still doesn’t work right keeps telling me I can’t connect for remote access. Still won’t load in other browsers I have to use Edge

I upgraded this morning without issue. I always reboot server after updates. Might be worth trying.

Thanks, I do reboot server,
I noticed a new update but havent done it since Plex has been working for most part. and seems every time its updated it stops working.
