I’ve used Plex for years and never had a problem with my current Mac using the Plex server.
I restored my Mac this week and tried to download Plex server, it installs in the zip file. I open it and install into the application folder. When I go to open it nothing happens. When right clicking and going to package contents
I open Plex Media Server log and it says:
Error: Unable to set up server: sqlite3_statement_backend::prepare: database disk image is malformed for SQL: PRAGMA cache_size=2000 (N4soci10soci_errorE)
logout
Saving session…
…copying shared history…
…saving history…truncating history files…
…completed.
So I went ahead and restored the Mac from Time machine, again. I’m running the most current IOS and have all the updates.
Plex still won’t get past this.
According to the log file database is malformed, how do I repair it?
The time machine backup I have saved, Plex did work at that backup point.
I attempted to install Plex on my Mac Laptop, not same computer as listed above, success. It has the same IOS as Mac computer with issues.
